Lynn has a life-long passion for dance and fitness. She loves the energy that comes from the fusion of movement and music and often finds herself creating new choreography. Lynn’s clogging journey began in 2010 when her daughter, a competitive dancer recovering from ankle reconstructive surgery, informed her surgeon that mom, unbeknownst to her, and she were going to take a beginner clogging class as the start of her re-entry into the dance world. And the rest is history.
Before her introduction into the world of clogging, she earned a BS in Biology from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ where she spent 4 years competing on the Scarlet Guard Army ROTC Drill Team. Upon graduation, she worked for 12 years in research and development in pharmaceutical companies while teaching dance fitness classes in the evenings. Lynn worked at the YMCA for 23 years as a Fitness Instructor & Specialist, Personal Trainer and Aerobics Coordinator. She achieved the status of YMCA of the USA Group Exercise Faculty, the highest position possible in group fitness within the YMCA. Lynn holds 10 fitness instructor certifications, the National Clogging CCI (Certified Clogging Instructor) certification and is an American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) Basic Instructor. Throughout her 39 years in the fitness field, Lynn has created two programs; Karate Aerobics which combines the art of Tae Kwondo with traditional Hi/Lo movements and Dance-It-Off which incorporates various styles of dance within the traditional fitness class format.
Presently, Lynn is the owner and director of X-ercise X-plosion where she teaches Dance-It-Off, Just Move, Just Tone, offers ASHI certifications to the community and serves as president of the Carroll County Cloggers. Her theory is “Life is what you make it, so just dance!”
Tori has a love of all dance. She has a background in many different styles of dance. After starting clogging around age 5 she has been clogging on and off for many years. When not dancing, Tori is a middle school PE teacher, a fashion stylist, and a wife and mom to 2 young kids.
Lora has been a member of the Carroll County Cloggers since 2019. She fell in love with clogging when she watched her daughter-in-law, Tori Strosnider, and her mom perform in the Carroll County Cloggers show Soul to Sole. She had to start clogging right away; and she did. Lora's first performance was only a few months later and she has been going strong ever since. In addition to Clogging, Lora has performed with local theatre companies as well as performing in commercials, and independent films. She owns Take the Stage Drama School and loves sharing her passion of theatre and clogging with all her students.
